On December 9, 2019, I downloaded Portal off of Steam and found that it was a different version of Portal that felt very off than the original.
Upon looking at the files of the game, I found that it was created by an unknown company called "Dead Dev Games".
I've managed to convert the files of this version into a playable source mod.
This was the result:
